What a day! Shane is such a patient teacher. I'm fairly new to bass fishing and was worried I'd be in the way, but he made me feel right at home.

He showed me how to read the electronics and how to feel the difference between a bite and the grass. I actually caught a 5 pounder! I was screaming with joy and Shane was right there with the net and a huge grin. Best day ever!

I booked Shane for my husband's 50th birthday and honestly, I was a little worried because Dave is such a serious fisherman. I didn't want him to feel like he was being 'babied' on the water. Well, let me tell you, he came home talking a mile a minute!

My wife booked me a surprise trip for my 40th birthday.

Conditions were cold and windy, which usually means tough fishing. We had Captain Brandon and he still got us on them.

It was an absolute blast for my first trip on Guntersville. Best 5 was around 18 pounds with a 5.5 kicker. I would recommend these guys and Brandon again.

Fished with Shane yesterday on Weiss Lake and absolutely slayed the spotted bass. Shane's knowledge of Weiss is incredible - he grew up fishing that lake and it shows. We caught 60+ fish with multiple over 3 pounds. It was non-stop action.

Shane took me and my son out on Neely Henry for a half day trip and it was awesome. My boy is 12 and this was his first real fishing trip with a guide. Shane was so patient with him and made sure he understood everything. We caught bass after bass and my son was grinning ear to ear the whole time.

Shane let my son drive the boat a little bit which he thought was the coolest thing ever. He also taught him proper fish handling and how to take good photos with his catches. As a dad, seeing my kid have that much fun was priceless.

I have to give Shane a huge shoutout! My boyfriend Tyler went on a trip with him last month and it was amazing. Tyler is really into bass fishing and has been following Shane online for awhile. Meeting him and learning from him was like a dream come true for Tyler.

I surprised my dad with a Father's Day trip with Shane and it was perfect!! Dad is getting older and doesn't fish as much anymore but this really made his day special. Shane was so patient and kind with him. They caught a bunch of bass and dad had the biggest smile.

The coolest part is that Jake learned how to fish grass mats with frogs which he's always wanted to try. Took my first guided trip ever with Shane last month and it was incredible. I've always been a casual bank fisherman but wanted to learn how to fish from a boat properly. Shane was the perfect teacher - patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable.

We caught bass all morning on topwater which was so exciting. Shane taught me how to walk the dog with a spook and I actually got pretty good at it by the end. We caught probably 15 fish on topwater alone. After that we moved to deeper water and Shane showed me how to fish crankbaits on ledges. Caught another 20+ fish doing that.

Shane Ellis is the man! Fished with him on Guntersville targeting prespawn bass and we absolutely crushed it. Shane put us on staging areas and the fish were loaded up. Caught 40+ bass with multiple over 5 pounds. It was one of the best days of fishing I've ever had.

Shane's knowledge of seasonal movements and patterns is incredible. He explained why the fish were in certain areas and what they were doing. That kind of education is what makes a good guide great. Shane wants you to learn and be able to replicate success on your own.

Shane Ellis is the real deal folks. I've fished with probably a dozen guides over the years and Shane is hands down the best. His tournament background shows - he fishes efficiently, makes good decisions, and knows how to put you on fish.

We fished a pre-spawn pattern in February and absolutely loaded the boat. Shane had us throwing jerkbaits over staging areas and the fish were eating it up. Caught 40+ bass that day with multiple 4-5 pounders. His Phoenix boat is rigged to the max and he's got every lure you could possibly need.

I reserved for a June trip but had to cancel. Shane said no problem, my deposit was still good and to reschedule anytime. We texted back and forth sharing fish photos.
