Lake Guntersville Bass Fishing for Beginners
New to bass fishing? Here is why Lake Guntersville is one of the easiest places to start, and how a guided trip takes the guesswork out of it.

Modern bass electronics can change how you fish, but only if you know how to read them. A lot of anglers have a great unit on the bow and still are not sure what they are looking at. That is exactly what these lessons fix.
Shane teaches hands-on, on the water, using your boat and your electronics. You will work through forward-facing sonar, side and down imaging, 2D sonar, and mapping, plus the settings that actually matter: sensitivity, range, chart speed, and how to tell a fish from cover.
More important than any single setting is learning to make decisions with what you see. Where to point the transducer, how to interpret what is moving, and how to put a bait in front of a fish you can see on the screen.
Electronics lessons run at 99 dollars per hour with a 3-hour minimum, on your boat. If you would rather combine electronics with a full day of fishing instruction, ask about the bass class.
Bring your boat, your questions, and your Alabama fishing license. Call or text Shane at (256) 744-5185 to set it up.
Guided bass fishing trips from $399. Reserve your date with a $100 deposit.
